12/15/2023 0 Comments Sudeki pc dissapearing textures fixWith regard to the 'enhanced for 64-bit' it has not been changed to run in 64-bit mode, check your Task Manager while the game is loaded. The problem is piss poor programming, rushed in time for an xmas release. SP2 is the latest service pack for XP64 so don't let anyone fob you off telling you thats the problem. There is no way I am going to change operating systems just to play GTA IV, and no sane person would expect me to do so. If, in fact, the problem is caused by running XP-64bit, then the problem is with Rockstar, not me. The word "Enhanced" implies not only that the should game run, but that it might also run "better" than normal. The box clearly states "Enhanced for 64-bit." You need xp sp3 < and its just 32bit only no 64bit Mybe some of you don't belive it but it's true, no command line or any thing after today < i got sure from two people i know and they reporting the game work fine with what i talking about " misssing texture " or the " the big mas" so i show them the photo like your photo whene all the worlde be invisbal and they shock and told me "we didn't have the proplem even close to that you showing us and i'm also use xp sp2 I just figure out the proplem becase i have the same what you all have " missing texture "Īnd the proplem is that we all use xp sp2 whene the want sp3 I think the game was coded better for Vista than XP. I have the 15 minute slowdown on Vista, but at least the game looks good. Oddly enough, I don't have this problem in Vista X64. One way I have found to bring the textures back temporarily, is go to the "game" option when the textures disappear and turn clip capture on, than back off again and return to game, textures will fade back in and remain for awhile. Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional 圆4 Edition Does anyone know of anything else to try for ATI? Worked but caused huge slowdown.ĭoes anyone know of anything else/different to try? Is anyone still having this problem? Tried numerous command line options with no visible improvement. Manually installed the GTA IV Title Update. I used the driver scanner in safe mode to remove all driver remnants. Removed and reinstalled graphics drivers. I have tried several "solutions" with no avail: Unless I am quite mistaken, I easily meet the minimum requirements. I just upgraded my PC and installed fresh XP yesterday. The game never crashes ( I can still move around, drive, etc.). ![]() Changing or lowering the video settings hasn't helped. Just to clarify the problem, this is what I am experiencing:īasically, I start playing the game, and textures gradually get worse until they no longer even display. ![]() So, after hours scouring the internet and trying different solutions, I still have the same problem - missing textures.
